    New car day tomorrow.
Very exciting. Got an email saying that once it’s delivered, I need to wait 72 hours to get in, due to Covid.
    **** that.

    Just a little A Class.
Gone for the hybrid version. See how that goes. Apparently they are a really nice drive on electric.

I’ll douse myself in Dettol first mate. Just for you :cheesy:

Sounds good ( the car , not the dousing in dettol ).

Got a Skoda Karoq during last years lockdown , no 72 hours back then .

    Well enjoy it :)

I can remember the bathroom switch going once in my old house. I turned the cover off to expose the wires, took one look, thought fook that, put the cover back on and called an electrician :cheesy:

Turn the lighting circuit off first
Reconnect the three wires at the top
Put insulating on the exposed live wire on the left
if that doesn't work probably a new switch and replace any of that old wiring that you can
other than that call in an electrician

Had to turn it all off at the box as one of those switch and live wires is coming from an extractor fan.

And yep, replaced the pull switch as the gubbings were goosed on the inside. <ok>

I used a wall chaser, the nastiest and potentially most dangerous tool I've ever used.

I stitch drilled the socket void and bashed the **** out.

All still works. House hasn't burned down like.
