  1. Agreed. We have got to learn to do without that idiot. It cost us before by putting all our eggs in the Rooney basket, and it almost cost us again. Capello will be confirmed as an idiot if he puts the hopes of England in Rooney's hands, given this latest demonstration of ill-discipline. We cannot take another chance with this chav-monkey.

IMO yes we ******* do. Agree we were as a team well below average but to get sent off like that is stupid. So to me it does matter.

Maybe the fact that England depend on Rooney is somewhat of a frustration to him?

I'd be ****ed off if I was surrounded by useless ****ers for 90 minutes.

But to blame rooney for a collectively poor performance is just silly.

Is it fair to say the hosts could of scored the second regardless of Rooney being on or off the pitch?

    *cough* and phil Jones.

But this does show Cappello is a terrible man manager. What he said yesterday about Rooney being calm about his dad. bullshit.

    Yep.

Being expected to do it all isnt what football is about. Rooney is a team player and you see at United how frustrated he gets when the team doesnt perform to the standards it can. Imagine what its like with the useless twats in the england squad.

At the end of the day, England still had a goalkeeper, a full strength defence, and midfield. If it was Rooneys fault that Montenegro scored a second, then something is seriously wrong.

Don't know what you expect England to do in the finals with or without Rooney anyhow. They'll do **** all regardless.

  9. That is absolutely no excuse, and you know it.

The man is a liability. As good as he is at club level, is just is not up to the task at international level. He's bottled it at crucial moments, and we simply do not need that. We cannot take the risk.

How has he bottled it and not the rest of the team?

Ok, Mr Redknapp, who do you suggest we rely on instead?

  12. We rely on the team. Not one player.

Rooney cannot do it, he's proved that.

Probably another United player. Seeing as they seem to think its always United players ****ing it up. Clearly they rely on United players.

    God is probably next.

No argument so you dodge the question? Let me reword, who would you have in place of Rooney?

Jolly good, glad you understand. Not sure what the second bit is about though, seems like nonsense. Is it nonsense?

People are fickle idiots who love to find a scapegoat in order to protect themselves from the knowledge that the team as a whole simply aren't good enough. That's all it boils down to.

Hmmm can't understand people saying that Rooney is a liability for the England team. Yes, he overreacts at times, but he is the only forward who will get you goals on a regular basis and the only forward who can 'scare' opposition defenders by his presence. If Puyol, Pique and other big defenders look at Bent, Crouch, Defoe etc. they will be like 'Who the hell is that guy?' Those players haven't proven anything on international level yet. Rooney still has to prove himself as well (on international level) but the only tournament he went into fully fit was Euro 2004. Now he is handicapped for the start of Euro 2012 as well because I'm 100% sure UEFA will ban him for 3 games for that kick.

If England want to compete with Spain, Germany, Italy, Holland etc. a Rooney on fire (not the fire he was on today^^) is absolutely vital.
Ashley Young is stepping up to become a great player and lets see how Wilshere comes back from his injury. He looked great in his games for England and his link-up play was excellent.
