Aye well try telling the knackers from wms that sick of reading some of their bullshit atm , What is the piss taking party over? But I thought Charlie said ahhh never mind
I've seen many young lads, like Winchester, come here and wilt. They must see wasters like Graham dragging themselves around and lose hope. It's always easier to go with the majority in any situation. The balance between the triers and the wasters needs to shift so new players feel enthused, not demoralised.
That's very true actually. I'd not thought of it that way. We need some good leaders who drag players up with them. Something we also lacked for years.
Some really lazy defensive play tonight like, we do still lack the quality to score a lot fo goals in games though.
The wasters don't even need to be in the majority, one bad piece of fruit spreads to the others individually. Danny Graham is rotten to the core and the biggest ****er ever to pull on a Sunderland short.
I've always watched our goal celebrations, it speaks volumes. When Wyke scored his third goal, on Saturday, it looked like he was saying 'f**k you Sunderland'.
Last time he was here, I remember seeing loads of clips of him doing extra training in the off season. He looked really lean, had worked hard and then he left. I always thought there must of been at least s part of him who actually wanted to perform to his best. But the vast majority of his time here he's wasted.
Winchester's not young mate. Players coming in like him have got to show some balls, take responsibilty, drag the others who are willing up a level, not just allow themselves to sink into the horrible culture which exists. The end of June gives an opportunity to clear a lot of dead wood out once and for all. Unfortunately, some will still have a year to run,so every effort must be made to move them on,rather than give them another year of free pass.I can't think of another season with these players.
How many times have we said we need a total clear out and start again? We are on about our 8th total clear out in 5 years. All that happens is the players who leave are replaced with worse
The only player I'd not like to see go is O'nein. Perhaps some of the young lads can step up. But I'm struggling to like any others tbh
Hopefully everyone will be on the same page of a longer term plan, rather than just another quick, temporary attempt at a fix.It doesn't help to put together a proper, capable squad when we're changing manager every 5 minutes.
Quite right mate, I'd have better used the word 'keen' ... ... Winchester will make a difference imo.
Yes,agree with Luke. I'd like to see Willis,Gooch,Neil,Diamond,Hume and Embleton stay also. I'm finding it difficult to be kind to anyone else. Maybe the Balkan lad who's injured,if he recovers in time.
He's got to be mentally strong. He's got to know this is a chance for him to step up,take responsibility and stand up to the likes of McGeady,Graham and the others. He's wallowed around at Forest Green....now is his opportunity. He's got nothing to lose. I don't know what he's like,I just hope he's up to it.
I’m sick of hearing the end of the window the end of june the end of their contracts we are always waiting for the end of and now it’s f ucking next week no next week no next week for the takeover get the bloody thing done and announced you tossers you’ve been buying for longer than some old lads can remember it’s like a damp squib now.
How does Rodwell not trying make him a bigger ****er? I'd also dispute his effort being huge in comparison. Rodwell scored 5 goals in 60 odd games. What about Grahams anti Sunderland comments, his mag roots and boasting to his mates. whilst both have done nothing on the pitch and both feigned injury. You cant hold the price we paid against Rodwell, but he is still a ****er. Its my opinion so I fail to see how you can tell me it doesn't stack up
Not saying much mate...you just have to be able to put one foot in front of the other to be better than Rodwell. That bar is incredibly low.
Lots of clear outs but no real plans. We have fumbled from window to window with the “This’ll do for now” attitude. A quick fix. I get the feeling that KLD has a blueprint and as already stated this will take a while to implement. No quick fix but a plan to bring together a well run and well organised club which will hopefully bring along good footy for fans to he proud of. A real connection between the club, the town and fans all over the world.
