Long game isn’t going to be easy, EFL have ensured that teams being relegated will be in a much stronger position than those already in the league. Smaller clubs coming down will be able to offer higher wages. I really hope the new people will be able to get round this, using every trick and loophole available.
I still think there should be a big throw of the dice to try and push for promotion this season. Doesn’t stop all of the planning for the summer and youth development continuing in tandem.

Most of the current shower realise they'll be out in a few months one way or another - that's why they don't give a ****!

Good to hear, these failures should be grateful that they play for us and not some tin pot club in league 1 or 2. I can’t think of more than 3 players who I would keep after the summer.

There needs to be a challenge to the salary cap, when KLD comes in ,he needs to lead that, it is not legal

I know where your coming from mate, but I really don't want to see us bringing league 1 players in on big money. We've tried that and it hasn't worked. I'd rather we spent wisely on young, up and coming players. Holy grail I suppose tho

Not sure that would stand up in court. I'm sure that it would be a breach of fair trade in some way or another.

The previous system limited wages paid to turnover, the clubs that went into administration all had dickhead owners that either ripped off the club or tried to bypass the regulations and came unstuck.

Have to admit to being too skint to pay for a stream for this and I'm fairly glad about it after reading the match thread. Sounded dismal as ****, and that's probably being generous.

Sounds like they are writing off/accepting we wont go up tgis season.

If we were to go up, it would take a nassive few weeks to get the right players in, hiw thats done with the salary cap i have no idea

Teams love coming to the SOL and put extra effort in as it is their Wembley game of the season if you like
Our pitch is the worst it’s ever been
Would it be legal if we play our home games elsewhere and get the pitch psorted out for next season.

Me too but I am taking a little bit comfort that Johnson has called it out and put the players on notice.

You’re absolutely right when you say the new lot understand it’s gonna be a long game to changeover many seasons of uselessness in all areas of the club

What he's done is put all the players in the spotlight now.

There'll be no hiding place for them now and it's about time.

Any new transfer targets also need to know The SOL holiday camp is now permanently closed.

We've heard for years from the club saying sign the players with the right attitude. But we always seem to get the wasters, here for a pay day. Hopefully that will be put right.
