    Peterborough moaning about our tackling.

One look at their pitch and we thought we were playing rugby

I'm sure they'd have preferred us to just roll over and let them have an easy win.
Well :emoticon-0172-mooni to that. I hope we kicked them black and blue.

Pull your pants up, sweetie :)

You certainly kicked our lads at every available opportunity ... that's why I'm so glad we took the points

If the situation was reversed I wouldn't be moaning about a few bruises.
You got the win, you were the better team.

Any player who pulls out of a tackle risks getting named and shamed by the manager

To think if Ben Watson was playing, we’d have definitely got to 30 fouls

That's not very nice Minxy <cry> .... are you sure that's the only reason you are glad you took all three points?

.... stay safe Minxy, it's a dangerous place out there for a nurse these days <hug> :emoticon-0109-kiss:

Nothing like a bit of post-match moaning and groaning - though usually most of it comes from the losing side rather than the winning one!

If they're this touchy when they win, they must be a real fun bunch when things don't go their way <cheers>

That was frustrating. We looked okay in the first half, indeed, pretty much up to their equaliser, after which we faded away. To be honest, while there are a few blaming Bowyer again, I don't see what he could do about the Pearce/Oshi mix up which gifted them the equaliser. I really didn't think Pearce deserved to walk back into the starting line up given hie recent performances, but our goal came from a penalty for a foul on him so, up to that point, he wasn't responsible for the defeat on his own. The second goal was a Shinnie slip - once again, our mistakes seem much more costly than other people's, but hard to see what Bowyer could do about that.
Washington looked okay, and within his limitations, Bogle wasn't as bad as some like to suggest, though why Aneke was dropped to the bench when some continuity was needed is a bit of a mystery. But overall, it was just one of those nights. I don't think our squad is as good as we would like it to be - play offs are nothing more than a possibility now. But on another night we might have won that - nothing to be proud of losing, but my gut feeling is that we have to just take this one on the chin.
