Hughes is better than Simpson. Woodgate should be in SBR's team as well, as good as Colo, better than Taylor.

    Shay Given Tim Krul
    Aaron Hughes Danny Simpson Tie
    Steve Taylor Steve Taylor
    Jonathan Woodgate Fabriccio Coloccini
    Olly Bernard Ryan Taylor
    Nobby Solano Gabrielle Obertan
    Gary Speed Cheik Tiote
    Jermaine Jenas Yohan Cabaye
    Laurent Robert Jonas Gutierrez
    Craig Bellamy Hatem Ben Arfa
    Alan Shearer Demba Ba

Colo is better defensively and with the ball than Woody was/is but Woody had the edge in sharpness

Consistently very good, one of the most capped players ever in the EPL. Yeah, I chose him over Tiote who has played one season and holds the most bookings in a season record. After a few more years Tiote will get my vote, but until then..<ok>

Debating my decision to pick Ben Arfa over Bellamy, after all Bellamy in his prime was a class act and worked wonders with Shearer up front not just in the league but in the champs league aswell, hes also got a consistent proven prem record, think I would probably stick Bellamy ahead come to think of it.

Jonas over Robert due to consistency.
edit Robert was the better player but you'll get a harder worker and defensive player out of jonas although i can't remember robert as much as jonas.

    This <laugh>

Jonas is the most inconsistant player on the pitch. One dribble, he comes off and scores, the next, he trips over and hands the ball over to the opposition.

Speed was a quality player. I almost picked Speed, Tiote's age (Speed was in hi s thirties when he played for us) was the main advantage.

Woodgate was definitely better defensively (tackling, positioning, anticipation), and if he'd stayed fit would've been one of the best in the world. Colo's better on the ball, fitter and has great hair. They're even in my opinion.

Robert was awesome. I remember one game where he took a corner on one side, then had to run to the other to take another one. It took about 2 minutes, as he was determined to walk. I <laugh> at that.
