I’d take Saka all day over Maddison like, if you think Maddison is above Saka you can pack your bags, cos you’re done.

We had him on loan ... not bad but we weren't particularly bothered when the loan ended ... all about opinions ... but he was never anywhere close to Maddison or Tielemans for me, even at his best ...

 

Different type of player, but Saka is already a class above.

Early days for Smith Rowe, but he looks a more skilful player with a quicker footballing brain.

 

I could have run through Morgan and Huth then ... they gave everything to win that title but were never the same after the season ended ...

 

We once had Gerard Pique on our books, not a patch on David May though so that’s the end of that debate.

We were chuffed to bits ... now he was one loan we really wanted to keep ... our recruitment has been superb ... good young players with plenty of potential, buying into what the club is aiming to achieve ... keeps us in there irritating the **** out of the 'big clubs'..
Or rather, their entitled supporters...
