Generational young Mase Fosse, plenty of people think he’s the best finisher they’ve seen in years, drawing comparisons to Van Persie for his technique. His pal died and it seems to have affected him a lot, as does the racist media bias that targeted him and praised Foden after they were shamed on England duty.
The problem for Lesta is that if their young players continue to improve, they'll find it difficult to hold on to them when a big club come in for them. They lost Kante, Mahrez and Maguire when the big boys came sniffing. Okay Slabs has turned out to be ****, but he still opted for the bright lights when called.
All about opinions ... but Maddison's finishes against City, Brighton and Saints are as good as any scored by young English midfielders this season ... he is capable of the extraordinary ... right foot, left foot and through a postage stamp ... huge talent.
Yeah decent player. Mount is doing it at a top club though. Would probably need to see Maddison at City or Liverpool to really assess his quality .
