I'd like to know when ttk will stop. It's meaningless, the players are only doing it to keep the peace.
Football and football Clubs do fantastic work in communities, including anti-racist and pro-diversity projects. We can all be proud of that. But from the first referee's whistle to the full time whistle, players should play football. Not play politics. Minute's silence, minute's applause, singing national anthems, handshakes, guards of honour... All of these have their place in football. None of them happen during the game. If we have to have them, anti-racist gestures (politicised or not) should happen before the match, as they do in America. I certainly would not mind if the Prem & EFL introduced the playing of our National Anthem before matches. Very patriotic. Then, that would be the ideal time for players to take the knee if they wish to. Anyway, bit off-topic Just 5 hours to kick-off...
I do feel very strongly about this. I have cancelled BT Sport and my TV licence and I haven't watched any TV since June apart from New Year's Eve when I was persuaded to watch Jools Holland. I believe there will be no change until there is a mass boycott and loss of revenue. Mine by itself is probably no more effective than was that of @The Elfsborg Sparrow during RD's ownership of the club but it's a point of principle.
About time Smyth had a good game. Subs to win it for us. This could be the first game since the playoff final that we come behind to win after conceding the first goal.
