Lol do you think Firmino's performances are acceptable at the moment? He's not scoring and he's not creating. He can't even play simple passes.
As Paisley said, let players age on someone else's pitch. We can't be sentimental.
Salah hasn't been struggling for over a year though has he. No doubt he's out of form but the guy is still our top scorer (and I think he's still top scorer in the league).
We all love Bobby but the guy has been poor for a long time now.
Take away the pens and look at his all round play and he's shocking. Point is people come in and out of form Firmino's form is a worry but you don't write people off so easily.
Take the penalty and he stills scores and has done consistently since he joined. He's also one of our best creators - again, since he ever joined. There's a narrative that he's lazy but he gets back and supports Trent as well. If anything, Salah is underrated. No doubt that he's struggling but hes literally our best attacker. Let's not forget, he's pretty much working that right flank single handledly now since Trent is holding back and not getting forward as often.
As I say, Bobby isn't going through a lean patch. Because this underperformance stretches to over a year. The guy scored 7 PL goals in all of 2020.

Only financial in the current situation. Haaland is outstanding and I would much prefer him over Mbappe (which ain't going to happen anyway)
I agree it won't happen (Covid being the main reason but not some reason) but I think FSG would fork that out in the right circumstances. They've proved they're not shy if the right players are available with the purchase of VVD & Alisson. Haaland is much younger than both of them were too and possibly more established too.

We won't bringing in Mbappe / Sancho / Haaland until we sell one of the front 3. Unfortunately, Salah is most likely and will command the biggest fee but it really should be Bobby.
