I don't understand any of this post. Did Suarez play for Liverpool between May and August? No. He's played February, March, April and May of last season on top of what this season's signings have. That's 4 months longer, not 8. And 2 goals..?

I'd say the signing of the summer window at least is Yohan Cabaye. Sure, he doesn't have as much impact as Suarez, but he's quite a brilliant little player and, most importantly, only cost £4.5mill. When you take value for money into account, he's one of the best signings by far.

True, you could say that about Enrique too. The difference though, in my opinion, is that Enrique is a bloody good full back who defends well and offers just a bit in attack, whereas Cabaye is a CM who is literally a gamechanger and has ran the midfield in most of our games so far. They do not come cheap. From that perspective, I'd say Cabaye edges it, and I know we'd miss Cabaye MUCH more than we've ever missed Enrique. That's especially potent when (somehow) Ryan Taylor has taken his place whilst we currently have the best defensive record in the league. Yeah, I can't figure it out either, but that's how it is! I'd really put Cabaye on par with Tiote in terms of being such exceptional value for money. Funny how our two CM's have been sourced in such a manner.
BTW anyone who seriously thinks Suarez is better than Rooney might be interested to know there records this season. Rooney - P6 S9 A2 shots - 37 A goal less than every 4 shots, over a goal a game plus 2 assists to boot. Suarez - P7 S4 A0 shots 23 - A goal just under every 6 shots, just over a goal every other game and no assists.
