Hi guys, West Ham fan here,

Coming to your place in a couple of weeks, was just wondering your thoughts on the game? I think it will be very close, maybe 2-2?

    Think you will get promoted?

Should be a close game. I would be happy with a draw, but obviously want the win, I'll go for 1-1. Automatic promotion maybe, but I think we are more than good enough to be expecting a play off place.

2-2 is sort of what I'm thinking as well, although partly depends on how we go against Derby three days earlier. Last thing we want is to pick up injuries or suspensions in that game.

Would be a shame to lose our winning run (16 straight home wins in all comps), but look if there's one team I could accept losing it to, it's West Ham.

4 points from these two games would be great. But I'd accept 2.

As for our promotion chances, I'm still saying that it wont happen. Top 8 finish at best. Come the end of this month though (and games vs Derby, West Ham, Reading and Boro), and I may well change my view.

Will be a good game, bit worried about our home record going but i suppose it has to at some point.Would probably go for a draw. How are west ham playing? long ball or passing? just asking as i know a few fans were upset when Allardyce was appointed.

It will be a close game. Saints 1 - 0 down at half time, but to win 2 - 1 at the end. I'm hopefull of a top 2 finish, but there is a long way to go. so lets just ride this wave as far as it will go.

At the moment I am thinking 2-1 to Saints. But a lot can chain before we play you.

Plus West Ham seem to have a decent away record...

    SaintAdam,

We tend to play better football away from home and our players seem to melt under the pressure at Upton Park. We are unbeaten away from home and it suits our game with teams having to attack us. If we win against Blackpool 3 days earlier that could give us a confidence boost. Think it will be very close though. Looking forward to seeing Lansbury vs Lallana

High score draw for me, and I'd be happy with that. Though I think we're more likely to win than lose. Wouldn't be surprised if we go unbeaten all season at home.

I think that saints will win and keep their tremendous run of home victories going. We should not be afraid of anyone at home! I have seen all the home matches so far and have not seen any side come anywhere near our standard of play. One or two teams have given us a game, but I believe that any team coming to St Marys to play open football will get murdered!

Gutted to miss this one. West Ham are comfortably the best team to visit so far so don't expect an easy win. Also two days before Sky are showing WBA v Wolves on telly... which game do you think will be better??
