Why do we want to qualify?

    If we qualify tonight,we'll just get humiliated again by Germany or Spain.if we don't get humiliated then we'll lose in the QF on pens as always <doh>.

    To enjoy supporting our country. Who gives a **** if get destroyed by two amazing teams in Germany and Spain, enjoy the games and hope our youngsters gain something from tournament football.

    For me it's win or bust.We English/British always expect to finish 1st so anything other than that is a dissapointment,it is for me anyway.Before a tournament started I always thought we had a chance to win it now we're just terrible and it's sad to see.Finishing 2nd is the same as finishing last in these tournaments doesn't make any difference.We didn't even try to win our match against Germany last year,let's at least try to win a match.

    Not its not win or bust. We did not win Euro 1996 but that team made us proud and we have memories of some of the games,goals and moments of that year and team. There are better teams then us and one team that are in the peak of their football in Spain. Germany have also found players so England are cleary in the group below those teams. We have not come 1st or 2nd since 1966, so if we do come 2nd then England have simply overachieved with the players they have.
