the boy did well right enough but alisson earned a point single handed. When a keeper has to concentrate for long periods and be ready to rush out and clear as the lino won't bloody flag or make 3 really game saving saves I think its under appreciated. Yeah thiago was lovely, give him another few games to build fitness and he will be better.
Bobby needs dropping ASAP. Get Taki in the team - the poor guy will get battered and bruised by Burnley defenders but at least he can control and pass the ball in tight areas.
I would give Fabinho MOTM - the guy was immense and won pretty much every battle despite having to contend with arguably the quickest attack in the league. Thiago was immense in the first half but faded else. And Allison put in a game saving performance.
I would go southampton style. 4222 Stick mane and salah free up top to do what they do and run behind. Stick shaqiri and "someone" behind them to play the passes and let henderson and thiago sit in midfield. Go quite narrow with that initial press and choke off the midfield and just let the full backs go. bobby was diabolical yesterday, no close control, didn't see obvious passes, shooting was awful.
