I remember when I was in my twenties and jobs were easy to come by I worked for a employer ( who was mega rich but really nice ) but called his employees by there surnames so I told the manager if he calls me by my surname I will call him by his surname he must of obviously had a word as I was expecting to get the boot but instead I was the only employee called by my first name which didn’t go down to well with the other soft gits
Vaccination passports, if they want to help the industry ( and keep the holidaymakers happy) ? Would need to have other countries working with it. Probably be other problems too, like the younger age group wouldn't be happy seeing other people jet off whilst they wait til Sept. Sod them, I'm 63, see you on the beach !
Vaccination passport's ain't going to help. Spain would be up in arms if our 18 to 25 crew went elsewhere
Hope not, I have all my hotels booked for the North Coast 500 in May, hopefully Scotland will open the border by then
I'm thinking that all countries would have to be in on it -- and the airlines. As I say, problematic to do
Until it's safe there's no need for anyone to go on holiday ... ... it's not essential, just good fun.
I agree Smug and our NC500 trip will wait until it's safe, I'm not looking forward to cancelling all of the hotels though, it was hard enough booking them
This for me as well, but there are those who are desperate for the sun, I know everyone is different, but their pychye seems to desperately need the summer holiday at the end of this.
Then of course there us an old joke about those who are skeptical about the effects of gravity... They throw themselves off a tall building as they pass each floor they say with undiminished confidence.."So far so good". As the number of deaths is around 100,000 in the UK due to Covid19...lockdown skeptics =Gravity skeptics?
It’s easy for me to say this as I live in Australia and the weather is generally nice even when it isn’t, but even me and Mrs K are wondering when we’re going on holiday again. Our two favourite places are Singapore and Langkawi and we just hope that we can get to at least one of them by the end of this year.
140 Covid vaccines a minute being done according to the head of the nhs. An absolutley amazing effort from the staff involved and the light at the end of this tunnel is shining brighter
I have said it before, if I lived where you live EJK, the furthest I would go on holiday is over the Indian Ocean to Rottnest Island
You can transmit when you’re vaccinated I understand. It’s not the holy grail until most people have had it
My lass is a nurse doing em.Had two resi homes on her list get shut two days before they were to be done, plenty still saying no at the moment
3.8 million first jabs given. That's more jabs than there have been positive cases. Looks like they're doing it!
