Doesn’t matter when the flag went up, he was about 3 feet offside . If it gets reviewed on VAR after he won’t suddenly be back onside!
Not our best performance, well first half especially but job done and 2 very good goals. We definitely look less sure at home for some reason. Southampton were very good, defended well (second goal at the end they had thrown everyone up and left the space) and were first to everything. They got in behind loads as well but lacked the cutting end but Shane Long for Ings will do that...think a fully fit Saints front line and it may have been a different story. On to Chelsea on Tuesday, hopefully Vardy is fit as I hear that Chelsea left back is bang average and Vardy will have him on his ass
Gutted our game today was cancelled, I still think Villa have played us, and I’ll be watching with interest to see the team they put out on Weds at City. Anyway, obvs the game of the day is at Castle Greyskull, so often this fixture disappoints after a big build up. So what will we get today? A cagey cat and mouse affair with neither side wanting to get caught on the counter? Or an open end to end thriller? I fear it’ll be the former and for me, it’s defo a game that’ll need a relatively early goal to open it up. Can’t remember the last time this fixture had top spot as the prize. Either way it could get messy on here later like.
United winning feels like the more bantz result but I’m sticking with my belief Ole doesn’t have a clue what he’s doing and is still scared of parking in Ferguson’s space plus I’m curious to see what Sucky brings to the evening in the event of a home win. It’s a shame either way it’ll deflect from Spurs’ 1-1 draw at Sheff U.
Sucky hasn’t got it in him to **** **** up if his shambles of a side finds a way to win. The gormless spunkbucket soy boy is best in the gutter taking size 10 Timbz to the face, and that’s where Bruno and the boys are gonna put him.
Also, what Sucky doesn’t get, is that a wolf like me will go out pre-game and nail my colours to the mast, knowing that if we lose, then things will be slightly worse when I visit this board, yet I’m still convinced he’ll fail to move me. On the other hand if we win, then the peaks will be much higher, a game plan dripping in power from me tbh. Screams Alpha. Sucky realises in his head that setting out his stall in the same way ends in devastating disaster for him, when they lose. He’s petrified of me rendering him a soiled heap. Beta.
Going for Sheff United and United wins. can imagine the Klopp fume with Wilder wining and him losing to ole.
Sheffield United would be sensible to score an own goal in the first minute to give them 90 to equalise.
I posted the actual Law. He is only offside if he challenges for the ball. If fouled before that it is a penalty.
So he wasn't challenging for the ball at the time Evans runs into him? ... was he a bit slow with the halftime oranges or something? ... no clear and obvious error ... he was offside ...
He couldn't be challenging for the ball as it was about 15 ft in the air when Evans fouled him. He had run near to where it was going to land which he is permitted to do.
In an offside position ... and he really didn't run anywhere ... he was still standing in that offside position .... sorted
He was yards offside and the lino flagged for the offside as he made a movement towards the rebound, then Evans clattered him. The offside came first and VAR agreed.
