Saw both sides of Tielemans today. He can do the dirty physical work and then the class of that finish was outstanding. Don't think anyone else had an outstanding or poor game, they just all got on and got the job done. A good three points.
Good to get a win. Not the most exciting match at times and made the last 10 minutes difficult for ourselves but 2 excellent goals. 8 points from 4 games over the Christmas period, including games with Spurs and Man U isn't a bad return. Reserve team for the FA Cup? Get the others plenty of rest and start to improve the home form with wins over Southampton and Chelsea.
Shame as you say, I think he and we as a team we just going for it until the end which is of course good for us as fans. Hindsight is a wonderful things but looking back you’d say just run the clock down.....also Brendan could have put a couple of youngsters on the bench and brought a couple off towards the end, again in hindsight.
There was scope for an upset today and I'm actually quite pleased we fielded a strong team. Obviously Brendan hadn't read my reserve team prediction.... Good performance from the lads, super goal from Justin, not sure I thought he had that in the locker. He's improved so much in a relatively short space of time. Dennis's hamstring being the only major downside, just when we were getting everyone fit. 4th and 5th round drawn Monday night.
I still think that (injury permitting) you just have to start Praet. Everytime he plays we just look so fluid and win. I’d love to see some kind of stats this season of win percentage when he plays vs when he doesn’t
Thought we completely controlled the game after the first 20 minutes or so and Youri ran the show in the 2nd half. Massive shame about Praet, as I feel he is massively under rated and under used. Hopefully his injury isn't as bad a first feared, but it doesn't look good. Good to see Castagne getting another 90 minutes under his belt and Wilf looks like he is back to his best. Looks like Perez is ahead of Iheancho as the striker if Vardy doesn't play. Some very good team goals yesterday and we looked very good going forward. More of the same against Southampton next week please.
Please see changes to fixtures for this week in the prediction league. Can you edit your predictions for Wednesday. Fulham v Chelsea will be added to next week's fixtures.

I have heard (on the grapevine) that Dennis Praet is out for 3 months. Has this been confirmed by the club?
Various 'sources' saying it's a hamstring tear and therefore 3 months ... not sure that I've seen anything official ...
Excellent home win tonight. Yes, a home win, remember those! Didn't start well but increased our intensity and pressing after the first 30 minutes. 2 good goals, created a good few more chances which we didn't take and I was concerned we'd rue them. Southampton are a good team and created a good few chances of their own. Only minor down side was Vardy hobbling off and fitness for Tuesday. Chelsea were far from spectacular today and it was an uneven game once Fulham were reduced to 10 men, had that not happened I'm not sure the result was as certain. Hopefully a win at home tonight starts the improvement in the home form for us and it continues Tuesday I think 3 more points and we're safe from relegation for another year
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55690772 Leading the way according to this. Good little bit of publicity for us anyway, Madders is spot on about doing it to keep football going... Great win last night against a very good opposition missing key players. No doubt we’d have had to step it up a level if they were a full side out but important to be putting this little unbeaten run at home now since the Everton game. Not Vardy’s day but hopefully he is fit for Tuesday as those are his kind of games.
That was a tough game last night. Southampton have improved a lot lately and after a frantic start, I thought we came in to the game and eventually took control. Castagne and Evans were excellent and Kasper made a couple of decent and important saves. Hope Vardy is fit for Tuesday and if we can win that, it will give us a bit of decent daylight between us and them. Liverpool v Man Utd today. A draw the best result? Failing that, a Liverpool win.
I have added 1 fixture to the list for next week. Also, Leeds v Southampton is now postponed. Saturday 23rd January Aston Villa20:00Newcastle United Please either edit your scores in the prediction league.
It was a good result last night and great all-round performance. We never looked like conceding from corners and didn't give away silly free kicks around the box for Ward-Prowse to have a go. Fofana looks to be back to his best now that he's got rid of that ridiculous hair colouring and looks more disciplined in a back four. Vardy had a real mare, though. If he is out on Tuesday then I think I'd put Perez up front rather than Iheanacho.
