Centre forward is the glaring problem. Anyone will do as long as they can run faster than someone pushing a pram.

Wonder if Allam ****ed over Smallwood, Wilks docherty Scott magennis eaves Burke greaves elder Ingram Whyte Flores
    Chadwick Fleming???
I’ve no doubt ehab is a tough negotiator but him and darn borough have got all those deals over the line. What is it about this one? For the sake of a few thousand? I doubt it with the money that’s been spent on new players. So what could it be?
we have to get players on long term deals for the future of the club going forward. Players that don’t want to do that will have to go
Because if this goes past January then he definitely won’t sign a deal in the summer as he goes into the last year of his contract. The agent will be rubbing his hands then!!
    He either signs or goes.

To be honest I haven't listened to him so not sure
Didn't listen after the game but hope so, it's sounding has though Crowley is coming which would make three and hopefully a big lift the team needs, we are still in a great position even though we have gone through a poor patch. I've seen enough games in this league to realise there is not a lot of difference between most. We have had a number of games were we have been on top recently but not capitalised on it like we did a few weeks ago. The first thing though is getting back to clean sheets.

And as I’ve repeatedly said, the contract terms are not preventing KLP from starting games. Ehab’s obstinence is the cause of that.

I would guess that owners are in a stronger position recently (Coronavirus/ less money in the game) to 'negotiate' from a greater position of strength & also players may sign longer contracts to be given certainty. There will be exceptions with some players in a actuall / perceived position of strength in negotiations. It might just be part of the overall 'negotiations' on both sides but playing out in public... I'm reliably informed that the club when extending a players contract recently 'negotiated' a reduction in the players wages.

And you don’t think this has ever happened before at other clubs with other players?
The club is laying down a marker we won’t be held over a barrel.
If it was me in charge I wouldn’t have him on the Bench

KLP has nothing to lose by signing an extended contract, after all it's not as if every player sees out the full length of a contract. If he pushes on his value increases, and his options for a move to 'better' teams increase. Sign and be damned.

Not sure what other clubs have to do with it. If they’ve acted daft, it doesn’t mean City need to join in.

that last line is ridiculous. To remove him completely would reduce his value to the club. That would add another layer of financial suicide to the current disaster.

I don't think the last line is as ridiculous as you would have it? If there is unlikely to be an agreement between the 2 parties(which seems highly probable at this time) then I wouldn't play him either.

A fit KLP would be a tad more enticing a proposition than a Crocked one..

His agent doesn't want him to sign that is the problem. It looks like the agent has been tapped up and has pound note signs in his eyes.

Sadly true. The agent has the scent of Sterling in his nostrils. I wonder if 19 year old has the back to stand up to a pushy agent and tell him he is signing. Tough call

I'd **** my agent off and keep 100% of the contract for myself, hey ho.

You know, TW. I'm no expert, not even close, so from my perspective I have to agree.

**** agents off and just take what you are willing to play for. Maybe talk to the family and friends about it.

Ask the experts on HC606... Oh wait... No don't do that

But yeah, why not just accept a contract you are happy with? Or decline a contract you weren't happy with?

I'll tell you why K, it's because agents will get you way more money than you think.

It's sad, but it's the way the world works.

So. KLP comes on and hits the bar after 3 minutes. Some would call that good management.

There are others including myself who take a different view, Time to take a look at the recent form folks. It's ****e.

Exactly. Looking at it from all angles: player, manager and owners.
