No. I'm just saying you are comparing one country to four countries all being governed differently. I never mentioned England.
You were saying the figures in France aren't comparable because the country's a lot bigger. However, as you've just said, the large populations areas are concentrated. France may be bigger than the UK but people are still crammed together in many places.
Boris can't be doing that badly then if three other nation leaders are doing pretty much the same as him.
Even if that's not the case I don't see why laughing smilies are brought in, it's either a discussion or it isn't. My point was simply that France sometimes seems to be making progress and sometimes not, point made, I'll leave it there.
It would be hard to deny that the Government have done well with the vaccines, without a doubt it's the one area that Boris has got right. It would also be hard to deny that the Government have been very poor in all other aspects of dealing with this pandemic. Just 1 example is the wearing of face masks, why is it still not mandatory to wear a mask when outside. In Spain it is illegal to not wear a mask when outdoors, if the Police catch someone not wearing a mask they will be fined. No argument, no excuse just fined on the spot.
That’s the way it should be also I can’t understand these people who refuse face masks at super markers why can they not offer them visors and if they refuse them tell them to f uck off. But apparently thou can’t you have to let them in.
No the taxpayer "gave" the money to the government to spend on healthcare on their behalf. The government does not have any of it's "own" money. Am sure everybody on here want's their money used for healthcare, infrastructure, education etc. Not lining the pockets of "businessmen".
So the reason we have done so well compared to the rest of the world with vaccines is down to government decisions. That's all you had to say
The "decision" to keep theirs and their chumocracy mates like Serco's noses out of the trough and let the experts do what they do best was a good one. Let's hope they realise the error of their ways in future.
The 'message' has been the problem from the PM walking into Covid wards, without a mask and shaking hands with patients, to the Cummings 'man of integrity' disgrace. I said from the start the public would give up being careful if the message wasn't clear and blunt ... some are so thick they'll grab any excuse. As you say the vaccines are wonderful, we're blessed to have that brilliant scientific infrastructure.
The public gave up before well before Dominic Cummins drove to Durham. The ones who are flouting the guidelines have been doing so from the start. You should focus your mind elsewhere. You're letting Boris Johnson and Dominic Cummins live rent free in your head.
