I'd better go catch a few z's or else i'll probably end up sleeping through practice, quali, and, knowing me, the race on Sunday
I just came back from the store with 20 redbulls and 12 small cans of coca cola and 1kg of candy. fit and ready for a Race weekend
I wasn't only referring to his crash, Mifune. However, if as you say, his DRS was "stuck open" (which incidentally, I have not heard anyone else suggest); then of course he has an excuse. If on the other hand, he chose to try it; this excuse does not apply!
I have been trying to find a clip to compare with his uncle. I have a strong memory when the marshals pushed him back on to the track when he got stuck. Almost felt like time had went back 20 years. I think it is a bit unfair to say he is "back to his old untidiness". He is pushing to learn the limits of his new car i think. It is too little to go on that incident. And I don't think that he was particularly untidy back in the HRT last year either. All of the drivers was equally untidy in that car last year. Well I want to give him a few more races to get comfortable before I start to judge him anyway. Remember Petrovs endeavours last year? And he is doing great this year.
Well if you dont try it how will you know if its possible? If he does that in Qualy or the Race then its a bad error.
I shouldn't have said that :| Lets hope he have a clean quali if they can make the car ready and a good race.
I have never used a DRS system so I admit to shooting some conjecture here: DRS deployment is entirely a decision for the driver, just as using KERS; or for that matter the steering wheel, diff' settings or brake pedal! During Free Practice, a driver gets plenty of opportunity to experience the effect of DRS. I therefore think it reasonable for a driver to be able to make a judgement about the effect of its deployment at any point on the circuit. This is entirely a 'driver call'; any such decision is necessarily based entirely upon a driver's own prediction of its effect.
Looks like it's a coffee Sat/Sun. love watching F1, love watching NFL. No one reply to me Monday, gonna be tetchy I think.
He wouldn't be a Senna if he didn't try to push it past it's limit. ahead of Petrov again, is that 3 - 1 to the newbie?
Not that I am complaining but according to the time sheets, Petrov was faster than Senna in Q2 and none of them set a time in Q3 so why is now Senna starting in front? Is it because of his lower car number or something?
