This was yesterday's. Today's was less pink like you'd expect. Got 3 left. Will have 2 over the weekend and I'm tempted to leave the last one into next week just to see what it's like.
Tastes great. Me and my son take turns slicing. While one is slicing the other is eating. Lasts about 10 mins. It's lovely with a little salt or even dipped in some maggis. Safe to say it will be getting made again. Quite fancy getting some chilli into the flavour.
Can you leave it longer, the more dry/thin jerky type stuff was what the guys I worked would do. They used skirt steam type cuts, then slice against grain so it wasn’t tough/chewy.
