Yeah that’s what I think we’ll see tonight. Would love for Vinigoal to start in that front three but it won’t happen.

I'm intrigued to see us try a 4231 and play Kane in the actual Eriksen slot instead of asking him to play the Eriksen slot and the Sir Les slot at the same time. Use Vini as the focal point to occupy and bully defenders, play Son and Stevie out wide and Tanguy next to Pierre in the pivot.

I think that would make for some brilliant attacking football.

Only thing needed is for Jose to suffer a moderate stroke and forget his medium term footballing memory, only retaining those from Porto, Chelsea I and Inter.

For those of us without a microscope...

I'm guessing that Lamela got over his case of Black Death...right, Duncan Castles?

Yeah possibly mate, but with very little creativity in the XI will they even get the ball enough? Think we’ve gone too heavily reliant on Kane and Son here as there isn’t enough in midfield or another option out wide. They’ll probably pull us through (yep, jinxed it now) but it’s a very unambitious looking selection from a midfield perspective when looking at the opposition.

10 changes from the side that faced Marine, with Sissoko the only survivor and only Reguilon came on from the bench.
Bergwijn's injury may have forced Mourinho to look elsewhere, but I'd have thought Moura was the obvious replacement.
Leaves us with a fairly solid looking, unimaginative side and a little lopsided, perhaps. Strong bench.

Played for our traditional rival and supports one of the teams we're competing with in the table. Nothing to do with either club playing in the game.
    Sounds about right! <laugh>

I don't actually mind Dixon as a pundit, to be honest.
He's not amazing, but he's fairly upbeat and tries to avoid being biased, at least. There are much worse out there.

Reguilon should do better with both of those chances. On his wrong foot, admittedly.
