When do you think Bruce will leave his role as Head Coach of NUFC?

 

Ashley will want to eventually try and protect his "asset".

 

He won't walk, Ashley wont sack him while we are above relegation.

 

I think it's Carver all over again. We may, or may not, fluke enough points. The only scenario where he goes this season is when its already too late, but then again if it's too late then the takeover will be off and he "might as well" be in charge in the Championship.

Bottom line is I don't think Ashley is getting rid of him. I think he's THAT checked out he doesn't even know or care what's going on.

 

I should point out that the events are not mutually exclusive

 

Who cares honestly

Best we can hope for is some no mark loser just like our current one.

Just sack him and make Pearson manager, or someone who clearly has a basic knowledge of management. Bruce is remarkably inept.

 

End of the season.. Ashley is banking on him keeping us up and winning arbitration..

Simple as that

Unless we look like we're being relegated with under 10 matches to go, he isn't going to be sacked.

 

The only positive is that if and when the new owners come in they can sack him as first port of business and get the fans REALLY onside by getting a decent manager... Think Howe would be the obvious choice having managed Callum Wilson and Fraser until the end of the season.

You’re 3 points worse off than you were after 17 games last season & you stayed up by 10 points.

The only way Ashley is sacking Bruce during the season is if the slide continues and you’re genuinely in the mix for relegation imo.

 

So vote for after 1 week but before end of season then.

Agree on the 3 worse but the team needs a change just to grab a bounce. Hence why were in such peril, because Ashley won’t make that necessary change and is playing chicken with the PL.
