The two signings should make a difference. If the fans were in the stadium it wouldn't be long before Upper North had a song for Schwartz.

 

I was free last night after 8 so I followed commentary of the second half which, reading back, was infinitely better than the first. Schwartz has hit the ground running and I hope this will give everyone a lift as they now know that if there is a loose ball in the area we have someone who knows how to finish and is not shy to have a go.

But I have also read elsewhere that players have resumed kneeling down in self-obeisance before games. Is that correct?

I think Lyle Taylor had it absolutely right, withthe support of Chris Houghton.

 

Didn't the players (not just Charlton, all the players ) have a vote on it?

 

I didn't know that, was it widely reported?

I recall that Premiership did but I wasn't aware that lower leagues had done likewise.

 

I don't know, just heard a 5live commentator refer to "The players" having taken a vote on it.
