For all we know, we'll sign a new striker in January (Please please please Mike).

It's a weird problem to solve when Tiote sets off for the ACN. Either way, we'd be no worse off than we were last year.

Really wanna see Abeid getting more game time though.

It won't let me reply with quote for some reason :(.

Mr Wonderful - I think we need another centre mid to go alongside Cabaye because Ben Arfa can't play there and Tash, Mikel is a good player, but wouldn't sign for us and will also be playing for Nigeria in the African Nations. Should have signed Reo Coker on a free when we had the chance

  9. lol oh yeah.

    Erm...

How about taking that McCeachren, or w/e is name is, on loan from Chelsea? He's young and looking for a chance to improve his game, and wont get that many games at Chelsea.

I'm pretty sure AVB would allow it for only half a season. He's got good pace, moments of creative magic, and can skin players. He's more attacking minded than Tiote, but he could fit in i reckon.

    Lucas Biglia from Anderlecht?
Would love to see Ever Banega here but would cost about 10m and might not be keen on us, however we do have Jonas and Colo....

Why would we want some Chelsea ****? Gosling will do a perfectly good enough job for us filling in for Tiote? Why have these players if we don't trust them to play for us?

No point getting a Van Aanholt type loan when we'd be better off giving our younger players experience.

Neither of them will be a MAJOR loss, even if we make no signings in January.

Best on his own or Best/Ben Arfa does me fine. Cabaye with any one of Gosling/Abeid/Vuckic/Ben Arfa/Marveaux in the centre would do me too.

The problem is, especially away from home, you can't play those last three in the a two man central midfield. They wouldn't do enough defensively. I would go for Gosling.

I think the government lifted the ban after FIFA threatened them, could be wrong though.

  20. I don't understand what people have seen in Gosling. Apart from that one friendly vs Orlando, he's been extremely average at best. I can't believe he didn't score vs Sunderland, it was a simple chance to take.

He deserves a chance, i just would feel uncomfortable relying on him. We should get someone else on loan.
