Infection rates literally means zilch. The more you test, the more cases you find. A positive test does not mean you are sick, or that you have the virus bizarrely. The countries who test the most have the worst infection rates and deaths. Remember, this is costing £100bn to mass test, what purpose is it serving? They lied that asymptomatic transmission is a thing, we know it is not so what purpose does mass testing serve other than the results be used to impose draconian restrictions on our lives.

Of course that is true Monny. Some learned people say that we should've protected the elderly and let herd immunity be built up during the summer when the NHS is traditionally quieter. Younger and stronger people get the virus meaning they don't pass it on to the elderly and vulnerable. Instead, full community immunity has not been built due to LD (we are almost there) there are less hospital beds due to distancing, there are less nurses due to PCR testing leading to self-isolating and this is why the NHS is "stretched". Failure after failure from the Govts of this country, and now they are blaming us for cases rising when the testing is not regulated, is fraught with false positives and doesn't correlate with deaths.
