yep, exactly right. I’d be happy with a point form this....the team that has form for the last 10-15 games wins this league - of course, I want a win and not a loss but we need to build our form, especially away form

Out of the box thinking but maybe Robbo at CB. He has the pace and positioning to play there but it does mean Milner will have to go to LB. If only Kostas was fit!

Ah come on, we’re not as bad as the form book suggests and they’re not as good. It’s going to be a very difficult game for sure but it will be for them also.

If we go with the guys we have then maguire and cavani will for sure be big targets for utd from set piece. Phillip can at least stand in the danger zone and head it away.
The issue is he will then be eaten alive by rashford in general play.
Matip is a 50/50 shot apparently. He would struggle with rashford as well but would at least be well able to get in the right places.

My ideal is henderson wijnaldum thiago midfield here. with the regular front 3 and then really we would be "just" without VVD in theory.
the more likely thing is we pull the team apart to get henderson and fabinho at CB and then thats weak but also midfield is weaker as well.
i don’t understand all this negativity. We are the champions and undefeated at home for 2 to 3 years. Our top three are bound to click at some time and I can see it happening this weekend. Klopp will make sure our players will be up for it. I will definitely keep Fabinho in the heart of the defence where he’s done really well. I would keep Henderson away and let him stay in midfield. But the key will be our attack.
I think the very worst we will do is a draw and they of course will be coming for that result.
