He actually did spend 35 million which is his second biggest spend I believe. I stand by my foment because its the absolute truth.... This season we shouldn't even still have Mike ashley and he was trying to leave this club with an owner beyond our wildest dreams. It's not his fault
When I say he could have spent money and replace SB I meant at the start of January. When you own a house worth 300k and you want it to remain at that value you have to maintain it. You have to look after it and you have to spend money on it. The club is no different right now. Anyways right now the facts are. we are in serious trouble. Bruce is steamrolling us to relegation. The takeover has not happened and; Will not happen if we go down. So when you look at it simply MA has two choices right now. Stick or Twist!
The club got any money to spent the clubs 35 million profits and if he spent more he'd have to up the price and PIF will say no... A look so he knows of he soends it they might still go down... Ashley is the winner here. Bruce is public enemy due to results and his history. Ashley is the one trying to sell so there is no come back. If we go down it is Steve Bruce's or the PL's fault.
He has but he has to maintain the value of the club ffs. Buying new players doesn’t increase the clubs value. It’s just an ongoing cost of running the club. Every game that goes by and every day we get closer to relegation the clubs value goes down. Have a look at the actual value of the club at companies house. The asset value is way WAY lower than what the value of the deal is. Your paying a premium for owning the club. Keeping SB on right now quite simply is giving us no chance given the current form and performances. MA has made this mistake 2 times and look where that got him. Will it be a third?
It’s SB this season yes. Previous 13 years is Ashley’s. The takeover fail is the Pl. But the fact remains that the current crop of players and manager are the ONLY ones who can actually do anything about this current mess we are in. May I also point out that we where having this same conversation 8 games ago because we all seen the shower of **** stats we had and although we had points on the board we all knew it was down to luck. I don’t think there has been a single win this season where I actually thought we played ok apart from the first game against West Ham.
Pardew was great, proper character and we competed consistently. Fans didn't like cos he was a geezer, which is exactly why I did like him.
