As a young un clinkers were either little pieces of purple iron drops on railway lines we'd collect for catapult ammo or bits of shìt stuck to your arsehole
He is a proven goalscorer according to some highly regarded professionals, do they know something we don't. ?
Lets give a little bit of credit. An experimental team who do not normally play together have little understanding of each others movements (not bowel) and attacking. Thought it was OK inc the fact we had a decent bench as well. The main problem is set pieces. I stopped counting at the 743rd corner. Then every one was garbage.
Mind it would be typical of Sunderland to finally win a trophy at Wembley when the fans are not allowed in the ground.
Not that experimental...Aiden O'Brien looked better than Wyke ( particularly the 1st half) young Neil had a knock and went off 1st half. I thought until we got onto or around their area we looked good and dominated... but scoring goals has been and continues to be a major problem...no promotion until this is sorted.
Agree regarding the goals situation but could LJ have stumbled on a formation using AOB as the main forward? It would certainly stop us playing hoofball and give us options regarding movement just behind him with players interchanging. Very difficult to mark. Wyke could come on later when the opposition CB's are tired.
As I said last week, any consistency will take you up in the league ... ... most of these teams are shyte,
I wonder if he's part of what mcgeady was complaining about ? I'll take it, and promotion. But yes, your right.
That shows Pompey’s strength in depth. Absolutely non existent. If they get a few injuries they will slide down the table.
