The Brexit lot were obsessed with scaring the markets for their own gain, and some of them are loopy/thick enough to have actually gone through with a Hard Brexit. Luckily they realised towards the end that they'd never be forgiven for starving people during a pandemic + they stole so much taxpayer cash they didn't even need it.

Apparently the logistics with the vaccines isn't down to the government, it's to do with the producers of the vaccines. Or something like that.
