Now factor in the 30,000 non Covid excess deaths at home as folk were scared to overwhelm are beloved NHS so didn't go to hospital, factor in the excess suicides, factor in the excess cancer deaths that will have happened and will still happen as folk are denied screenings due to the NHS becoming the Covid response unit. The Government has completely ****ed up, all the evidence points to them ****ing up, Lockdowns don't work, closing schools is unnecessary, masks are a complete waste of time, closing gyms is an insane policy based on obesity being a driver of CV19 infection severity. The fallout from this will be enormous, the Govt's fear propaganda will result in more deaths than the virus ever will, millions of jobs lost, debt levels at historic levels and a population totally brainwashed for a virus that kills hardly anyone. Those graphs are fake news. Yearly death count for 2020 is 675000 I think. We both agree that this Government is incompetent and their attempts at sorting out this ****show have been pathetic, they've just used it to curb freedoms and pocket ****loads of cash. There is a real disease out there that's killing people though. Doing what NZ did would have been slightly more effective.

It's an older graph and is qualified as being an estimate. NZ wouldn't have worked here and why would anyone want it if they are of rational thought. Sweden being the poster-boy of a liberal democracy and trusting its people to do the right thing as opposed to us in our 3rd lockdown and cases still going through the roof. I've lived under restrictions for nearly 10 months bar 3 weeks in the summer - all for absolutely nothing because here we are back to the start. Wales has been under lockdowns and circuit breakers for 14 weeks and it's doing nothing to control the virus. When will people realise that the Govt are not controlling the virus, they are controlling the people and ruining our economy and society at the same time.
However much I wish for that to be true, they are not stupid and know exactly what they are doing. They are being advised and egged on by Totalitarians in SAGE and the media. Any Politician not taking advantage of something like this is not doing their jobs properly. Sinn Fein went from absolutely anti EU to European darlings in the blink of an eye after Brexit for example. These laws and regulations will only stay in place if folk allow it. Yours is Holyrood and not Westminster. Once the vaccine starts to kick in and the 'numbers' start to fall we will be on the pigs back mate. Then get the Ethics charter within the WHO changed to ****.
They want people to work and spend money. At the moment we're not at full capacity, so the ****s aren't getting their outrageous share of the profits of our labour.
