I'd like the producer of whatever platform the pundits are on to say to them pre match " mention the 0-9 and you'll be sacked".See if they can actually be bothered to do some research about us other than taking the cowboy option. I can imagine even fans of other clubs think " **** me, wind it in, same old every week".
It's my choice to watch without commentary quite often. But as previously mentioned, I'm banned from watching Saints games anyway, so the fact we lost that match being constantly mentioned is not a recent experience for me!
At home. My wife gets very concerned about my mental well being especially if we score early! So to keep the peace and quiet atmosphere going that's why. I have a mate around the corner from me who often goes for a walk with 15 mins to go if the one goal lead is still there!!
I rarely watch a Saints game....far too stressful. If I watch a game on TV, I often put the game on pause if we are in peril....such as the opposition cross into our half or....horror of horrors....get a corner NFASF (normal for a Saints' fan)
Understand that, I was at Roker Park when we scored early then held on to win 0-1, crucial to our staying up. Egil Ostenstad in the 22nd minute, I didn't breath for the rest of the game. Hate close games especially after an early goal. Little bit more in control now can get through the game without heath issues or risk of damage to fixtures and fittings. The expletive levels however haven't diminished.
I may be the first to spot it but have any of you realised that this is the team we lost 9-0 to last season? Vin
You should get in touch with BT Sport and point this out, I’m sure their commentary team would relish a little snippet like that.
A six pointer. There was a time not so long ago that this would be a six pointer at the other end of the table.
2 games until the yellow card suspension level hits 10. 2 players are on 4 yellows who really need to avoid being booked in the next 2 games: KWP and Bertrand and they certainly need to avoid being booked in the same game!
Ok, that’s a thing I have always argued we are better with football continuing as it is a link with normality and a diversion from our situation That’s definitely true for me Are you pleased we’re still playing? At least your mates getting some exercise My prescription for stress is walk, walk, walk
