For me Ashley sets the value of the club regardless of Arbitration. He will get what he wants for it or he won't sell. Ok he might get a bit of token compensation and the satisfaction of beating the EPL as a last **** you on the way out the door but unless it's to push this particular deal through, what is the point? If he's not happy with peoples offers he'll just keep the ship above water with minimum investment or effort until he does and for me personally I doubt he'd spend the time and effort on all of this if it wasn't for the Saudi's. I mean I'd love the Sheikhs to come riding in on their camels waving £50 notes around but tbh as long as Ashley goes I don't care if its the Saudis, Mauirss or Mr Blobby who buys the club. I just want to go to a game again but point black refuse until he's gone.
This also strikes me as odd. She took the time and effort to write a letter on something “apparently important” and then took this long to put it into the public domain? Isn’t that a bit odd. If I had received something like this which I knew as a “hot topic” it would be going out the second it dropped on my mat.
My feeling is similar I just want something different than the crap we currently have and to be honest I couldn’t give a monkeys arse about the value or spends etc. I just want to watch good football and feel emotionally connected to it. Win lose or draw.
unfortunately like all MP's she doesn't write every letter herself and relies on staff, maybe she was taking legal advice before she put it out there. or waiting for more information coming through before releasing it, something which she refers too in her letter I understand what she says, as every MP has a duty to ALL their constituents, not just football fans but at least she has done what she set out to do
Well blow me down with a ahem. February eh. Interesting that. Just after the transfer window closes. SB better put them out to play well and win tonight or Twitter is going to be on fire.
