Have read it, thanks. The reasoning only makes sense if you have an interest in driving the profits of the largest sugar production companies, for a product that many consider should be a listed 'poison'. But heh, if you're OK with that...
Would you be surprised to learn there's more to this story? For those wondering which one, I can tell you: Victoria Atkins Yes, this Victoria Atkins https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...abis-paul-kenward-british-sugar-a8356056.html
The people that believe all of those lies won't hear a word of this. They'll watch it, sure, but none of it will penetrate their thick skulls. Fake news, deep state, QAnon bullshit is the end result of decades of propaganda. Dr Frankenstein's lost control of his monster, again.
Just searching for "supermarket basket comparison" brought up this image: please log in to view this image How the **** are they spending nearly three times as much for about a third of the stuff? Tory corruption is just a daily thing now. Thieving scum.
Chartwells were founded by a Tory donor I mean just because we all guessed this doesn't mean somebody shouldn't say it...
A reply to the original tweet has the same shop done at Waitrose and it still only came to £8 or £10 if you have whole packets, rather than the bits and bobs. Someone's chucked in an over 300% mark-up, pocketed some of the rest and probably donated a substantial chunk to the Tories. It's just blatant corruption.
Sums up the centrist pack perfectly: who cares about Chartwells pocketing 5/6ths of their budget that is supposed to feed the most vulnerable, somebody is saying mean things about Hadley Freeman's absurdly bad take on The Sopranos and I must step in!!!
