He didn't deserve it but he took the risk to go and live there to make big money! He must have known the risk of being a Westerner in Iraq! Especially in 2004!

So... no need for respect, crocidile tears or faux sympathy!

The reason he was getting big money was because it was in a dangerous area. Yes he was risking his life, but doesn't mean you can't feel sorry for his family and the way he was brutally murdered.

He could have been with his family. And still be with them today. He chose not to.

    You ignoring me Medro?

He knew the risks, and was allegedly warned by a local security gaurd that he was in danger, he should have left at that point! But he didn't, he let greed get in his way!

So, why feel sorry for people who put them self needlesley at risk!

Whatever the reason, 7 years ago, though he put his life a risk, it was brutally taken from him. Thoughts are with his family and friends.

    And welcome back jordan :)

My Dad's working in Iraq just now, he knows the risks and is happy with it seeing as it pays a fortune. Besides, its not much more dangerous than working in Nigeria, Angola or Brazil which he has done for prolonged periods in the past. Maybe the danger excites him as he was always bored working in Malaysia or Oz. That would be understandable since he's not allowed to bevvy when on rota.

If something was to happen to him mind you I wont be getting shocked and upset, instead I'll be going all Liam Neeson on the smelly bar stewards <grr>

First plane to Saddam International, dress as a woman (as in wear a valance sheet with 2 holes in it) and hunt the fuckers down.
