It's really not. 7 miles is still relatively local on a pushbike. Unless you think people should just ride around in circles.

He potentially rode through 4 different boroughs to get to Stratford, 1 of them has the highest rate of covid in the UK. If you cant see how ****ing stupid that is , then theres no point even discussing it.

And it's quite clearly different to travelling 340 miles. Which was my point.

Why would you intentionally cycle 7 miles to a hotspot ?

There's some nice cycle routes round the Olympic Park area.

Hard to avoid hotspots if you're living in one though. Maybe people shouldn't leave their houses at all. I went and had a kickabout with my nipper on a local field today, probably shouldn't have as Soton is a hotspot eh?

Anyway my original disagreement was with you saying it's the same as driving 340 miles which it evidently isn't.

    Boris would <ok>

Part of the Olympic legacy. Along with the Capital Ring, a selection of walks and cycle paths linking inner London nature reserves. I did the Parkland Walk from Ally Pally to Finsbury Park the other day, along a disused railway track. Took me about4 miles from my house.

Good, Morrison’s also said they were only letting people in without masks if they proved they were medically exempt.

This is a good read, highlighting where the Tories showed some proactivity in seeking a vaccine culminating in whether or not they will meet the vaccination requirements they are aiming for.
Touches on the lack of bottles available, asks why vaccination centres weren’t identified sooner and picks up on a comment made by Johnson, who says all the people in the top four vulnerable groups will be “offered” a vaccine by the middle of February. Being offered and receiving are two different things and hopefully we’re not going to be subjected to more of the flannel we received when, in response to how many people had been tested for Covid, the government just responded by saying what the capacity for testing was, so nobody ever knew how many people were actually being tested.

    Quite a long read.

I think Johnson said 'offered' because it's not compulsory.

Saw on Sky news today that less than 40% of surveyed French people will take the vaccine, compared with 80% of the UK.

I have a good friend who has lived with a kidney transplant for 30 years. Highly vulnerable. He has been offered the vaccine... 4 weeks time.. Theres a big difference between given and offered..

Make it mandatory for travel along with a valid test plus no insurance for those without. I've had to show my vaccination certs for entry a number of times in the past what's the ****ing problem with these ****wits?
    Edit, I mustn't say frogwits, I mustn't say frogwits, I mustn't say oh whoops.
