Every Bluebird will be behind him. Two people close to me have survived this - so can he. Stay positive Sol
Really hoping that his treatment is effective and he’s fit and well soon. We’re all rooting for you Sol.
Another in a long line of bad news within the club. However, Sol is a colossus of a man and endeared himself to us all from his first game. If anyone can successfully fight this it is Sol. As Ninian rightly says, a true legend. You can beat this Sol in the knowledge that everyone at the club, from management, employees, players and fans as well as your family is right behind you.
Football Club allegiances take a back seat when something like this happens. Best wishes for a speedy recovery, Mr. Samba.
My son in law has non Hodgkin lymphoma and it was diagnosed 6 years ago were he underwent chemo and is now living a normal life if that is possible these days, and has a check up with a blood sample every 6 months ,but with this virus about he has to self isolate as he is prone to catch anything that is around.
Just saw this thread this morning. Echo all the sentiments above and sincere best wishes. Get well soon Sol if only for your wife and family - the rest is just a side show.
Noticed this in the breaking news yesterday. Very sad but he must know that everyone is with him and hoping that he's got the beating of it. A fit young man has every chance and if support is any factor, it's a foregone conclusion.
Hope you have as good a birthday as possible today Sol. And then, many, many, many more to follow. I'm sure you will.
Get well Sol. You can beat this. Every City fan, indeed every football fan, is right behind you in your battle against this dreadful illness.
