So Southillingpton needs, to reverse the form of late and the 2-0 defeat at home before Xmas in which we were S@^$E in defence, almost a training game, it was not good. I feel Akinde given a full game and good support will make amends and start to score more than he misses. Still not sure why he is on the bench for the first half then expected to turn things around in 45 minutes. I thought the Green Army match was one of the best I have seen Gills play and thought times are a turning. We still have failed to win against the three worst defences in the league in recent games. I also feel there are backroom problems and players are doing their own thing, we are definitely a far far better team than form is showing. Yet another Southampton loanee young Slattery, he has form and hopefully alongside his other teammates can start to turn things around. Have seen we have had a few loanees return to their mother teams, Drysdale for one, we are weak in defense and now lose a defender, but Bonham playing sweeper, defender, midfield, striker, and goalkeeper, just requires one to help him and we have 9 in attack lololol. In fact, if the rest of the team had half his enthusiasm, we would be in the Championship. Gary Roberts back in the lineup for Stanley and at 36 years of age will keep some young toes awake. Now back to the match, Stanley away on Tuesday conceded 4 to Lincoln in the EFL a big defeat and hopefully another tomorrow. Stanley 1 v 2 MKG ( Cassidy, Akinde and Lee)
