I’ve started to wear a mask on my dog walks to combat the huffing and puffing of said cyclists and joggers :emoticon-0148-yes:

Over the weekend I was walking the dog, I could hear a puffer coming up behind me and there was another one coming towards me.... the one coming towards me kept on my side of the path to avoid the one coming from behind me.... problem was that neither wanted to slow down so the one in front of me came puffing towards me until he was about 2 ft in front then jumped sideways on the path to avoid me .... he tries that again, he will find a dog lead smacked around his face... CVNT!

Scooter riders on public roads :headbang:

Not mopeds - those motorised board things.
    They are a menace.
They knock down pedestrians if used on the pavement, and they're just asking to be flattened when on the road itself.

It's about time ALL road using vehicles had number plates & insurance.
    Including Cycles and scooters.
In my view Cyclists would get a lot less stick if they waited at traffic lights as they're supposed to.
But I reckon a big majority just ride through.
Can't recall the last time I saw two or three waiting at lights.

Sorry - a bit off-topic in the Corona thread.

All joggers should wear fish-bowl style 'space' helmets.

Now even the Prime Minister travels SEVEN MILES to go for a cycle ride...

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-55620138

Well done Boris, for setting a p*ss poor example.
Many of us will continue to obey the rules, either because we have more respect for them than he does, or simply out of fear.
Meanwhile an ever growing minority will just please themselves.

    Something else I hear that just beggars belief;
DEMONSTRATIONS by Covid deniers and anti-lockdown loonies outside hospitals.
Exhausted doctors and nurses coming off shift being verbally abused by these scumbags - and having their morale destroyed.

    This is absolutely disgusting.
Why are loony demonstrators being allowed to hang around outside hospitals?
Anybody abusing our NHS heroes needs to be locked up.
Mobilise the army if necessary, post soldiers outside hospitals to give short shrift to anybody making trouble.

Covid: Derbyshire Police drop fines for 'intimidated' women

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-derbyshire-55625062

The women got an apology as well.
They welcomed the apology and said they are pleased to draw a line under the event.

Well, that's OK then. As long as they're happy.

    Listening to Hancock is impossible.

Ffs he states the obvious of complying with the guidelines, the prick has been saying this for 10 months.

Stop telling us to comply, get the high street and public transport policed and fine the cooonts who are disobeying.

There seems to be an alarming (if still relatively small) minority of people who are just saying "I don't care if other people are dying..."
    And clearly they mean it.

Their candour does them some credit I suppose. But their totally self-centred attitude marks them out as inadequate human beings, who presumably were not taught any moral values by their feckless parents.
They are going through their lives at the emotional level of the average farm animal. Even below the level of a pet dog.
Animals in general will care for their own family - at least for a while - but have no care about what happens to others of their own species.

More than 1,500 people dead yesterday from Coronavirus.
A slightly declining level of infections, but still over 47,000.

Yet there are still too many grey areas around the lockdown rules.
    • Exercise can be taken an unlimited number of times each day ... why not only once? This just gives people an excuse to be outside whenever they want to be. During the first lockdown, exercise was once per day, for a maximum of 1 hour.
    • Exercise has to be 'local' but no distance is mentioned ... why not? The PM himself was cycling around a park SEVEN MILES from his home, and he was defended as doing nothing wrong. It's a licence for people to travel as far as they like.
The appeal to 'stay at home' is almost meaningless.
People can leave home as often as they like, and drive or use public transport to travel as far as they like, and STILL be within the rules.

    Not good enough.

And on top of this, we now have people arriving from Brazil possibly carrying another new variant of COVID19. That variant may have come about through the use of a Chinese vaccine that is only 50% effective.
Yet UK politicians are only going to discuss restrictions on passengers arriving from Brazil today.

And even the new law demanding that people coming into the UK by air or sea test negative for COVID19 has not come into force yet!
The reason? To give people a chance to prepare for it <doh>

If the virus could laugh, it would be laughing at this Country.
It cannot laugh of course - but it can KILL.
For pity's sake, get these measures in place!! And tighten up the rules.

Over 100,000 dead now from Covid. Imagine the old Wembley stadium packed out to get the picture. The good news is that in Bromley the rate of infection has taken a sharp downturn for some reason.

Spain is drifting along in the shadow of the UK. Cases are going up on the back of a Christmas rule relaxation, and as experts begin to ask for a circuit breaker lockdown before the hospitals begin to be overrun, the government say no need just yet. As happened in March, a pig headed delay now will probably convert a potential one month lock down in a much longer one, but sadly politicians, like Lee Bowyer of late, seem to specialise in making the same mistakes over and over again.
Here in Catalunya, we have elections next month, and the Nationalists want no lock down before then. Who knows how many extra funerals we will get in order to get another nationslist government. Covidiots everywhere.

REported in the Evening Standard that the Brazil variant is now in the UK. It seems likely that there will be more variants in countries which have been unsuccessful in fighting the virus.

Ever more reasons for us all to follow the rules and be extremely careful.
If we are vigilant, we have a much better chance to stay well.
I wonder if the Brazilian variant is a result of the much less effective Chines vaccine they are taking over there.

My big worry is that one of these variants will prove more resistant to our vaccines.
Apparently this is still very unlikely. But not impossible.

Looks like they got the scrote who gave a 92 year old woman a fake vaccine jab and stole £160 off her...
Apparently the cnut even called back a few days later and tried to get another £100.

    Innocent until proven guilty.
But if he is convicted, this low-life should be jailed.
