    He’s not, he’s sound mate.

We tried getting him on loan last year but Fat Frank ****ed us off.

He’d be a good signing for you lads.

Better than what we have. The trouble is that Bruce would play him in goal.

I'd be worried about anyone Bruce tried to sign.

No player with ambition would come anywhere near NUFC under Bruce. They don’t want their careers wrecking.

We recruit without a strategy, that's the real problem. It's a great model to try and unearth hidden gems - Leicester are particularly good at it, but a lot of clubs seem competent in this area - McGinn, Bissouma, Soucek, Suyuncu, Ndidi, Neto, Traore, there's literally dozens of examples of well scouted, affordable players. The key difference is many of these players were needed to supplement the managers needs and the needs of the club, as well as being well scouted.

We end up with lazy and talentless Joelinton at £40m, ASM who our manager asks to "track back", etc.

Joelinton isn't lazy tbh mate but he's just not good enough.. I've seen enough now and it's incredible the club paid paid 40 million for him.. His 1st touch is so appalling that I do seriously wonder if he's just mentally destroyed and not very good on top of that.

He'd achieve the impossible and be worse that what we already have.

Dunno who this guy is, but I already know he's better than Tom Davis.

    Don't be dissin Joey.

He's clearly no good as a line striker, and we've seen enough of him being dreadful at that to know that ain't his position. Whenever he's played in the no.10 role behind the striker though he's been useful, he's strong, makes space for others and is pretty skillful. We just need to play him in the right ****in place.

We can be decent if we use him right, he ain't a Luque.

Let's not get carried away here, Luque is the yardstick to measure just how **** a player is. There's the "10 to Luque" scale, from 10 if they're the greatest of all time, to Luque if.... if we'll, they're a Luque.

Joey is about a 3 on that scale.
