An end is in sight mate and it's great news but it's not 'the' end. Sadly the NHS is struggling to cope and things are about to get worse. There'll be 100,000 dead by spring and I doubt we'll be out of this crisis before the Autumn ... ... just in time for the winter. I'm usually so optimistic, it gets on people's nerves, but this is horrific and claims we'll be back to normal by Easter are daft. When we're not people will be even more demoralised.

No mate it's not the end and I don't mind admitting I'm struggling with it... The NHS will probably collapse in the next 2 weeks, the staff are under unbelievable pressure. Yet some people continue to do as they like, use every excuse they can to bend the rules. Frustrates the hell out of me
Mrs Smug can't watch the news any more because she feels so sorry for the NHS staff. You can see they're at their wits end.
One of the hardest things is seeing how much the "**** you I'm OK" attitude has become the norm. I was brought up to look out for family and friends and also to respect others and the community. Yet ore and more I see people not giving a ****e about anyone but themselves

Since this all started me and Mrs Smug have followed the rules to the letter. We've disinfected our hands before going into shops, worn masks if we were anywhere near other people and kept away from the village. So I feel entitled to politely speak my mind to people ignoring the rules ... ... they go ballistic and I walk off.

He's the biggest Liar on here and cry baby when he has to take it back. He's turned into what Albert is to the Newcastle board. At least the bloke who called Smug a **** sympathiser had the balls to come out and say it directly to him. Smug done it cowardly. There was no need to question if Rooch would turn a blind eye to child abuse.
