He's been took under the wing of players who we as a Club could never dream of playing for us.I like him and I admire his ethic at Liverpool.Bruce took a 'punt' on him,a move which at times had some of us scratching our heads and the fee at the time of his move to Liverpool was a significant amount of money for a gamble which paid off for them..

No they hadn't, the club has always wanted the longer deal, KLPs representative wants the proposed wage increase but at the lower contract length,

Sign him to the deal, let him play and get rid of the issue .
Then concentrate on getting promotion .

KLP doesn't go for nothing. City would be entitled to a fee, even after his contract ends....

We have 2. Would like more goals from both but they still contribute with back to goal.
I felt Tom generally played well and came close as you possibly can before succoming to injury.

Cant say I wouldn't like to see a clinical finisher who can play the same role come in this window mind.

Id like to see the KLP contract resolved. Ain't doing anyone any good as things stand and he needs to be focussed on the football. Doesn't look quite right even when subbed on recently.

Well, I woke up to find that we had drawn, and was reasonably happy with that. I have now read the posts on the game and feel quite depressed. Let's not forget we are in the 3rd tier of English football, the team is probably enough to compete at this level but no more than that. The standard of football isn't going to be great, but it is what it is, because the players, on the whole, are Div1 level.

IMO there are very few if we did go up at this stage would cut it in the Championship. Probably, Emmanuel, Burke, Jones A, Greaves, KPL & Elder. Honeyman (Squad member), Docherty (Squad member), Wilks (Possibly). Callum Jones and Fleming may develop into players that can hold their own at that level, but that is about it.

Until better owners come in, we are going to be a top half 3rd division club, bottom half Championship club at best. So we just have to try and enjoy the football for what it is.

There's a lot of young talent around this squad who I think will likely step up a level or two. That appraisal to me seems a little pessimistic in terms of future quality and potential, but I wholeheartedly agree that we are where we are, it ain't gonna be as pretty as we've become used to in recent years and ultimately we're not going to challenge at the top end of the championship as long as the Allams hold the purse strings.

He was certainly worth far more than what we got for him. Literally every ex professional says Robertson was an absolute bargain for Liverpool. As for his current value if sold, they’d get more than £50m I’d expect.

Of course not, why would I think that??

Just pointing out your nonsense about him leaving for nothing.

Of course they say that NOW!!!!

No one commented at the time, other than why have they gone for a "cheap" player. Then he didn't play for a few months, as apparently he wasn't right.

You (and they) are looking at the player NOW!! then adding our Allam's dislike, are creating a conspiracy.
We reportedly got near £15m for Clucas, almost ten times what we paid for him two seasons earlier, that suggestwd we'd been done well. Same for Bowen...
ManUre paid a record for Pogba after releasing him for nowt four years earlier. THAT'S FOOTBALL, NOT A SCIENCE, NOT AN ALLAM CONSPIRACY!!

Anyone could see he was worth more. The attributes you see on the pitch now for Liverpool we saw plenty of times at the KC. He’s just had a bit of polish applied and playing in a far superior team.

The Clucas deal doesn’t look so good when you consider Kingsley was some kind of make weight. As was Kevin Stewart.

Likely the least effective game Emmanuelle has had... I'd still look to see him in front of Coyle on the right,...

We need to factor in that he didn't want to continue his career with us in the Championship? We had little in the way of leverage to keep him here and the 'big' Clubs pounce on situations like this. It's a pointless discussion in some ways yet it's regurgitated on here as a stick to beat Allam with!!

I wonder how many Dundee Utd fans wake up of a morning cursing Hull City for 'stealing' their crown jewel?
