We have offered him a larger wage then the automatic raise in his current deal to sign a slightly longer deal, his team are asking for that larger wage rise but on the current contract length. Why should the club agree to that

We play every week with ten men mate. Aint got a centre forward at the club

 

Because the Club need to look at the bigger picture .
Hes potentially worth millions.
If he digs his heels in he leaves for nothing .
The club gains nothing .
Let's not forget they let a £50 million pound left back go for under £9 million.
Clubs interested in KLP will be waiting regardless

I usually dread us being on Sky because we're usually below our best....

 

It really shouldnt be used as an excuse though should it .
If we are on Sky live in the Prem the odds are stacked against anyway .
In the Cgampionship prob 50/50 .
In this league maybe we just arent as good as our league position suggests

 

Hence why they want him on a longer deal and have been giving new contracts to all the younger players who deserve them

And the club didn't let a £50m left back to for £9m because when he left us he was nowhere near a £50m left back. You can't sell a player for what he potentially might be worth in the future FFS...but you do add in sell on clauses to cover yourself as we have done with all the decent players who have left us.

 

I love the fact the posters on here who are demanding a wage rise for klp but refuse to put any money into the club themself

We looked oright for the first 30
Minutes. Seemed we played Honeyman and Doherty off Eaves. Seemed to work. Then I have no idea what happened for the next 60 minutes. Totally disjointed. Greaves and Burke where very good. The rest distinctively average. Long scares the heck out of me.

Also I know Magennis and Eaves aren’t good enough, however I still am in shock we signed them last year, when we had players of Bowen and Grosicki class.

As it stands we are not using the player for the rest of the season then he leaves for nothing .
Like I said clubs will have seen him and sign him regardless .
