Has it annoyed anyone else that Burge went off at half time? Why didn’t he do the right thing and come off when he got injured? Cost us a goal and potentially changed the outcome of the game for good or for bad. Maybe i’m over thinking it, but doesn’t look great does it.

Put Eaves in our side and we would look much better, he can play with his back to goal and make the ball stick

An improvement on northampton, and you can’t say that LJ didn’t play for a win. Played every attacking player that we have in the squad, we’re just crying out for a striker. Thought the back four were great, as were the midfield 3, a lot more positive than all 3 sat in front of the defence.

MOTM for me between Scowen, Sanderson, or Diamond

getting to be the 'regular' game for us, lots of huffing and puffing but absolute lack of any quality whatsoever in that final third, teams are now quite happy to let us knock the ball around and never have to panic once they score.

the word was LJ needs to get rid afore he can bring more in that could count towards the wage structure...stupid idea, teams should be allowed to spend within their means...still needing that midfield playmaker, all the ones we have are too similar and/or struggle to play a telling forward pass.

graham, one touch when we are chasing a winning goal not good enough, not even competing for balls in the air, hope we can find some way to get rid of at least graham and wyke and get a couple of decent strikers in...looks like we are stuck with grigg as no one will want to take a chance on him right now :(

on the basis of the game the draw was probably the right result but we HAVE to start being more of a threat.

Still got a chance of getting up. Next 5 league games...covid apart, Wimbledon, Plymouth, Shrewsbury, Ipswich, Gillingham. Nowt to be frightened of, but we desperately need our injured back added to a couple of additions. Reckon every team is gonna have a fixture pile-up by the the end of this variant.

I'm a bit disappointed with the style of play under Johnson I'm not seeing much improvement there. Lot of long balls up to Wyke which we know produces nothing.

Lots of improvements though, much better and more positive team selection and use of subs. Just need to move away from long ball as soon as possible.

Challenge on the keeper gave them the edge, the more you see it the more deliberate it looks.

seemed to find space easily, something our 'strikers' never do.

You can't blame Burge for wanting to stay on. If anything it's down to the physio and the management to make that decision

Wonder if that 35000 crowd would of made some difference?

I'd like to add that's the best 45 minute Max Power performance , playing right-back.

We need goalscoreres , we need goalscorers , we need goal scorers , we have known this for months , we have known this for years , even one goal scorer would be better than nothing . Why do we persevere with Danny Graham when he came on did he do anything ??? would we not be better off with Curry who at least has some pace and will run and run DG offers nothing .

Worrying that it could be the salary cap that determines our future. There has to be away round it using promotion bonuses etc. We have to manipulate it to our advantage because we cannot spend any longer in this ****ty league.

Looked calm and composed, a few dodgy square passes but outweighed by sensible stuff.

I quite like Wyke at this level, but I think the difference is that Wyke wants a battle and sticks to the centre back to get one. Eaves (and others) loses his man when he is facing goal and with his back to goal is strong enough to manage the ball when it comes to him.
