Anyway, whatever the rights and wrongs of KLP's new contract terms, the real disaster here is the vice-chairman's self-harming decision to stop him from starting games. There's simply no need for that kind of twattery.
In all honesty with this being rearranged at last minute and being on Sky I fully anticipated us getting beat so I'll take the point.. not a great game but we move on
Poor game! Wilks is such a frustrating player! Going top is still in our own hands so let's move on from a piss poor game
****e yet again. Another game where we take the lead, play well for a bit, then squander it by not taking good chances when we're on top and letting our opponents control the game. Getting sick of this now, we've been doing it all season and nothing ****ing changes, the only difference now is that teams are actually punishing us now compared to the first few fixtures. And next game, you know we'll play the same tactics and the same way without any change because Grant is a tactical genius.
You're forgetting the Eaves first half chances? For all the Sun'lan possession, Long didn't have much to do...
I've seen worse performances, but it was a game that epitomised the mediocrity of the league this year
Neither team looks like a promotion team . If they do it's a hell of a poor league and worse than the same division we left 15 years ago !
Thought we'd draw, we did, so not really surprised. Worrying again how around the 70 minute mark it turns into a training drill for the opposition. We just launch it in the air downfield and allow teams onto us. That's got to be sorted, if we aren't going to kill games off (Charlton being the exception) properly, then we need to make more of possession. I'm going to have a trawl through our previous games, be interesting to see how many games this season we had more possession than the opposition.
This is the point I was trying to make earlier with howden. I don’t think grant is doing a fantastic job, we haven’t improved. We are just in a poorer league. The fact we are second just papers over the cracks for me
i wouldn't use the word better - we were less **** the first half and you were less **** the second half
It's amazing just how much better our side would be with a manager like Paul Cook, who is instead doing punditry for this game.
