On the Official, so welcome back Charlie@ Good to hear you have fire in your belly, and hopefully unlike me it's not just the curries.
Yep, welcome back Charlie! Hope you still have fire in your feet (and head) as well as in your belly! Good grief, the R's really need you. Things really are getting grim. I see a glimmer of hope now. Apologies for being so negative, but I have been totally fed-up with the squad lately.
Always liked Charlie but never believed in former heroes making returns to past glories. I really hope it works out but I am extremely doubtful. Hoping my scepticism is misguided.
After our strikers performance today I welcome him back with open arms. He’ll score more goals than Dykes and Bonne by standing still and letting the ball hit him. The 999 credibility bank in huge credit.
Never go back. But we need goals and inspiration. He could just be it. Clutching at straws.. It would be terrible to go down with Charlie and Adomeh. Let's get Bircham and Ainsworth back too and make it a real party
Charlie knows how to score unlike the 2 we had playing today. Charlie would never had missed the Dykes and Bonne chances. welcome back Charlie.
You know what ... it’s a good news story. And we could all do with a little of that. Good luck Charlie, I hope you can prove your worth at this level. Looking forward to seeing how it all goes (though I may be peering from behind the couch with fear and trepidation - it’s the QPR way!).
I completely understand all the misgivings of others on here and Charlie certainly hasn't looked the same when I've seen the odd snippet of him. However, he must need games which will certainly increase his match fitness and sharpness. Plus, as you say, he knows where you need to be to score goals and I firmly believe that he would have scored two goals today had he been on the end of the chances that Dykes and Bonne had. He's way better than anything we have with one leg cut off. Welcome back Charlie, let's hope it works out.
That's a really encouraging interview. Please play 2 up top Warburton as Charlie can't play up there on his own.
Whatever Charlie does or does not, he will remain a QPR legend! There may be negatives to discuss but for now I'm just enjoying the 'fire in his belly' that he wants to bring to QPR and decline to focus on any negatives.
