Whatever your take on this virus, the reaction has been far worse than the ‘cure’.

The past 10 months have been a disastrous waste of time and money as Govt policy clearly hasn’t worked if we are now having more deaths per day now than at the peak.

Lockdowns and restrictions clearly have not worked.

Stumbled across this article in my back-catalogue when I was spring-cleaning my bookmarks.

So instead of building herd immunity in the summer when respiratory viruses are less deadly, we hid away like meek little Cis-men and waited for the State to save us, unbeknown, The State is not qualified to do so.

No mention of Brexit? I was just reading a blog written by a Leaver bemoaning how things have turned out. Apparently our friends and partners here in France have given the UK a week's grace and have been allowing trucks with incorrect paperwork in until today. Watch out next week when they are going to get turned back. A bit of a problem if you are carrying fresh fish.

In the other direction a UK importer was saying that they cannot persuade foreign truck drivers to go to Britain fir fear of hold ups. Apparently they get paid on distance not on time.
