For some reason, whilst typing a reply, it posted before I had finished typing. Rather than edit this post, I thought I would leave it, just because there is something funny about it.

    Anyway,

Jesus. I think I have just watched the saddest thing on TV ever. Sadder than Watership Down. The latest episode of Educating Essex.

I must admit i thought it would be a load of cack but its actually pretty good so far. They have proved me wrong. They even managed to last 3 whole lessons without laughing at the German scientist Koch. My class lasted 3mins

The weather is good here now, slightly chilly but good for this time of year.

If we had snow yesterday to cool Alex O-C down that would have been good. Also I believe Arnar Darri Petursson has been practicing with Scott Loach. <laugh>

    Afternoon all,

Sun out here, but it does feel a bit autumnal. The vine leaves are starting to go gold and red, a sure sign that they will start to fall shortly.

Been to look at a fabulous old farmhouse this morning that my daughter and family may be moving to. It had been set up as a chambre d'hote and a lot of money paid out to make it very comfortable for the paying guests, unfortunately it is a bit off the beaten track so the customers failed to arrive. Now broke the owner is going back to England to start all over again. It is something we see quite often, the ex-pat with an idea about how they can make a living so that they can be here, but find that it is hard to put the idea in to practice. There are always houses for sale that have been up-dated to a degree, then have to be sold because the owner has run out of money.

I could sell my house and move there, but I would miss the cold and snow.
