The army are being called in as well to help i will pay for my vaccination as well can boots do it ? should be about March/April if not.
I have no idea why a fit, healthy footballer would need vaccinated. It would be crazy. Theyd be better just getting it and building up immunity that way. Once the most vulnerable are vaccinated, I'd question all this testing and just tell the clubs to get on with
Long covid is a possible issue for most people, and death is a possible issue for many. Which is preferable, footballers are unable to play football, or people die.
No matter who is vaccinated there will be someone else that isn't and will die as a result. It could be viewed that it is crazy to vaccinate a 90 yr old widower who is retired and has no family to raise before vaccinating a 25 yr old with a wife and three young children yet society (ie those in charge of vaccination policy) decide to vaccinate the OAP first, even though the 25 yr old has more exposure to the virus. What seems rational to one party might be seen as crazy to another party. I bet each club in football could muster 40 aged fans who would rather their vaccination was given to someone from their team to let them finish the season rather than endure another farce like the ending of the 2019-20 season!
It can also be viewed as crazy to vaccinate healthy young footballers rather than a susceptable man of similar age with a young family
If they are susceptible they will get the vaccine in due course. Don't need to jump the queue. But then if they are susceptible maybe they should be shielding, not playing.
Well our midfield couldn't shield the ball even if they were given a suit of plate armour and a Roman scutum!
I think they would. I'm sure it was said somewhere that they couldn't be certain that being vaccinated would also prevent you carrying it and passing it on.
