Fox-hunting is an ancient part of English culture. Efforts to stop it are always initiated by urbanites who think themselves above traditional pastimes such as hunting and baiting, because of some loosely-defined morality regarding 'humaneness', and funnily enough they're generally left-wing and liberal types who'd think nothing of having Dr Patel take a blender to their womb when they decide their own unborn child is just 'a clump of cells'. Bloody arseholes

Also, a fox tried to bite me two weeks ago when I was at the bus stop

They never mention the cause of death. They just say they tested positive for covid-19 within 28 days.

I know and that's what pisses me off, so vague.

    How many deaths from
    Lung Cancer
    Heart attack
    Old age
this year, is anyone keeping track?

And you have to factor into that the fact that for 10 months of the term people have either been locked down or working from home.

I would imagine the house break-in (burglary) figures look good.

Number of deaths of all causes is the only reliable stat, make what you will of the April spike, probably people having their cancer treatment/urgent operations removed. Rest of the year is about average:

Perhaps i worded it wrong, how many died of "other causes" despite having tested positive in the previous 28 days?

If i tested positive tomorrow and then died in a car crash in three weeks time would i become a statistic in the "tested positive" column?

Loads of foxes in London now.

It’s been safe for them to return to the countryside, since the chinless twat yokels stopped ripping them apart with dogs for ‘sport’, but they seem to like it here. Maybe it’s all the chicken shops.
